    Hi Amy,

You may not remember me, but we “bunked” together back in the 80’s. I was talking to my 10 year old daughter about career choices for English majors (her teacher thinks she just may be a writer – let’s hope) and I mentioned that I had a roommate that, last I heard, was editing a famous biography. Then I recalled some of the things I remembered about you, including your backyard with the half circle of trees. Did I remember that wrong? I have this vivid memory of standing in what I thought was your backyard and seeing this wonderous circle of pines. Also, I have a deep appreciation of Edward Gorey thanks to you. I goolged you just to see what I could find and found this site. I will explore it later with a nice cup of tea!

    All the best,

    Dawna (Benedetto) Bucco
